ONE QUARTER SHARE LEFT IN HAWTHORNDEN 
Great colt with real potential, has won his last two trials and race placed. Racing in the the $150,000 Young Gunns Final one the 11 March. There is one 25% share left $27,500.
A great opportunity is available to secure a 25 percent share in 2YO pacing colt Hawthornden, who is being set for the $125,000 colts and geldings Young Guns Final at Auckland on March 11.
Hawthornden recorded two fourths, and a third, in the first three Young Guns series heats at Auckland last month _ his only starts to date. He has recorded a placed mile rate of 1:58.4 over 1700m.
A colt by Grinfromeartoear _ the same sire as Mr Feelgood and Smiling Shard _ Hawthornden is closely-related to some big-winning young male pacers.
He is from Millwood Bette, a Badlands Hanover grand-daughter of former top 1970s filly/mare Lancia (10 NZ wins).
Lancia is the great grand-dam of NZ 2006-07 2YO pacer of the Year Ohoka Arizona (p2, 1:56.2), and the grand-dam of earlier top male 3YO pacers Late Bid (1995 Queensland and Australian Derby winner) and Lotsnlots (1992 Victoria Derby winner and runnerup NZ Derby).
Another great grandson from Lancia in Pukpuk Power ran second in the 1992 NZ 2YO Championship, and later took a 1:52.6 mile mark in North America.
